We’re Hugh and Jennifer, a small-town couple with big hearts and an even bigger love for pets. Having both worked in the corporate world since we were 16, we decided to grab hold of the “American Dream” and build something of our own.
In 2021, life threw us a curveball when Jennifer was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Crohn’s Disease, forcing her to step away from work. Suddenly, we went from a two-income household to one. But instead of letting that define us, we leaned into Hugh’s love for craftsmanship and creativity. Together, we set out to create something meaningful—something that brings joy not only to us, but to pets and their people too.
At The Leash Lounge, we handcraft custom Biothane collars, leashes, and bandanas with personalized leather patches. Every piece is designed to be durable, unique, and full of personality—just like the pets who wear them.
